1. Platform Use. LocumPal is a healthcare staffing marketplace connecting UK-registered locum clinicians with healthcare providers. Use is restricted to healthcare professionals and organisations operating within UK law.

2. Professional Standards. All locums must hold valid UK registration (GMC, NMC, GPhC, HCPC, or equivalent) and maintain current compliance documentation. Providers are responsible for verifying credentials before engagement.

3. Data Accuracy. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile, qualifications, and compliance documents. Misrepresentation may result in immediate account suspension and referral to the relevant regulatory body.

4. Payments & Invoicing. LocumPal facilitates shift booking and invoice generation. Payment terms are agreed directly between locums and providers. LocumPal is not liable for payment disputes.

5. Confidentiality. Patient information encountered during shifts must be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, and your professional obligations.

6. Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Report any suspected unauthorised access immediately.

7. Termination. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to patient safety.

Privacy Policy Summary

How We Use It. To operate the platform, match locums with shifts, process invoices, and maintain compliance records. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data Storage. All data is stored on UK-based servers in compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Retention. We retain data for 7 years after account closure to meet NHS and CQC audit requirements, unless you request earlier deletion where legally permissible.

Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp, IP address, and browser information for GDPR compliance purposes.
